Citrus time of year
Friday, January 30, 2009

Ah the glory of living in warm weather climate that thrives at growing citrus trees; and lots of them!!! I love being able to pick my own fruit in the morning and then make fresh squeezed juices! Here is my OJ...yummy!

There are also some GREAT recipes on what to do with your extra citrus.

Whistler
Thursday, January 08, 2009

The studio is currently closed as the Rice Clan is taking our annual trip up to Whistler. I feel like we have grown up on this mountain as I have been coming every year for the past 12 years. It's amazing...we have good years with snow and bad years. This year was a bad year with loads of high winds, avalanche scares and rain washing away all the glorious inches of new powder BUT 7th heaven the alpine portion of the mountain was finally opened today. And so worth the 4 day wait...We made our own tracks down the first run and it was glorious. The powder was incredible and the views nothing but stunning. It is my peaceful place in the world and it definitely left me at peace today. Enjoy some of the images.
