Our dear family friend Donna Prchal needs a miracle and all of you can make that happen. My mother and I arrived home on Monday morning from traveling to receive some devastating news that Donna had been admitted to the University of Arizona Cancer Center for treatment. We need as many people to pray for her right now so I thought why not send this out to anyone I know in the blog-world. You might not know this family but believe me they would be forever grateful if you take 5 minutes to pray for their mother.
She has been diagnosed with a very rare form of lymphoma cancer and given 4 months to live; It took doctors a long time to figure out that she had lymphoma but it still wasn't clear what kind. Once they determined how rare her lymphoma is they gave her 4 months to live and offered this trial treatment that has only been used 2 times before. She has been on this regimen since last week and seemed to be tolerating it fairly well until a few days ago. They are closely watching her liver and kidney and just recently they have not responded well. They stopped treatment at the moment to allow her body to have strength and are watching her vitals very closely. Please PRAY for her strength.
Donna has three beatuiful children and a wonderfully supportive husband. They are active members in their parish community and faithful community leaders. She is a joyful, generous mother and lives her faith each day.
We are driving down to see her in the morning at the University hospital so please please pray as hard as you can that her body shows some signs of positive response and that God grants her strength to keep fighting.
